PROJECT SHAKTI
Empowering Women, Transforming Society Project Shakti is an initiative of SMILE NGO dedicated to promoting women empowerment, gender equality, and the social, economic, and personal development of women and girls. The project aims to create an inclusive society where every woman has the freedom, confidence, opportunities, and support to realise her full potential and live with dignity and self-respect. Through awareness campaigns, educational initiatives, skill development programmes, livelihood opportunities, health awareness, and initiatives promoting women's rights and safety, Project Shakti strives to empower women to become confident, independent, and active contributors to society. The initiative also seeks to challenge gender-based discrimination, encourage equal opportunities, and promote a culture of respect, inclusion, and shared responsibility. At SMILE NGO , we believe that women are not merely beneficiaries of social change; they are its leaders, creators, and catalysts. When a woman is empowered, families grow stronger, communities progress, and society moves towards a brighter future. Our Vision: A society where every woman and girl is empowered to live freely, learn confidently, work independently, and lead with dignity and equality.
